Can you lose in Brushland?

No. On the October 16, 2026 Steam community announcement , Michał Marcinkowski answers the FAQ plainly: there is no clock and no fail state. The Steam store description expands that painting water under villagers can be undone, but that is mishap recovery, not a game-over screen.

What does “egg?” mean when a villager asks?

In preview footage, a villager can show a speech bubble with an egg icon and the text egg? (lowercase, with a question mark). The same bubble appears in the official announcement trailer around 1:06 and in Steam screenshot material.

The developer’s published FAQ line is: “Egg?” We’re looking into it. That is the only official explanation as of 2026-10-18. This wiki does not treat egg? as a confirmed resource name, quest, or cheat code.

Is Brushland multiplayer or co-op?
